GROUND BROKEN FOR NEW SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
(Wichita, KS) - Ground was broken last week for a new office being built by Vantage Point Properties. The one-story 12,000-square-foot building underway at 3207 N. Cypress will be leased by the Social Security Administration Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA). The announcement was made by Paul Jackson, president of Vantage Point Properties.
The building will accommodate a workforce of approximately 50 with completion slated for fall 2006, says Chris Bolinger, realty specialist with the General Services Administration. According to Bolinger, OHA administers the hearings and appeals program for the Social Security Administration. OHA is currently located in the Brittany One building at Woodlawn & 21st Street. Daryl Crotts, CCIM of Coldwell Banker Stucky & Associates and Paul Jackson negotiated the transaction. General contractor is Commerce Construction and Jeff Krehbiel Associates is architect for the project.
Based in Wichita, Kansas, Vantage Point Properties is the developer for Lakeside at the Waterfront, and will soon announce plans for a new 60-acre
