WILSON ESTATES OFFICE PARK, NORTHROCK PLACE TO SELL
Paul Jackson is a busy man. The owner of Vantage Point Properties is close to announcing several deals at a couple of new developments. But first, he has a major sale to finish. He's selling Wilson Estates Office Park and Northrock Place to DBSI Discovery, an Idaho-based buyer of commercial property.
"That's part of real estate development," Jackson says. "You keep some things, and you sell some things, and everything changes over time."
Wilson Estates Office Park is on 21st Street just east of Bradley Fair Parkway. It has five buildings with 216,000 square feet of space. That includes the Capitol Federal Building, the Hinkle Elkouri Building, the Morgan Stanley Building, the SNB Bank of Wichita Building and the Preferred Health Systems Building, which together house more than 30 businesses and are almost 100 percent leased.
The office park is separate from Wilson Estates Medical Park, a Laham Development property.
Northrock Place is on East 32nd Street North just off Rock Road. The two-story building has 48,000 square feet and is fully occupied.
Vantage Point owns about 15 properties in Wichita.
"We're continuing to do business just like we always have," Jackson says.
He's close to announcing plans for a 60-acre commercial development in the Andover area. And Jackson should have several announcements related to his Lakeside at the Waterfront at 13th and Webb. The development will have 90,000 square feet of office space in three multistory buildings and is expected to break ground next month.
The deal with DBSI should close in March. |
